All about Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 level Colleges

All About Different colleges in India

Got confused about colleges, Than read this till end

There are Majorly Three Level of Colleges in India:

  1. Tier 1 Level Colleges
  2. Tier 2 Level Colleges
  3. Tier 2 Level Colleges

  1. Tier 1 Level Colleges:

These are Very Famous and Well known Colleges. This level includes IIT's, NIT's, BIT's, IIIT Allahbad and some other Colleges. These Colleges are well reputed and Famous because of their students. These Colleges have a strong alumni network, links at international level  and Highly supportive for research work.
They provide all facilities, resources to their students. And Because of great image of these Colleges, Company get high work force from these Colleges. Also the Fee structure of these Colleges is good, and students get great scholarships here.

      List of Tier 1 Colleges:

  1. Top 8 IIT's
  2. Top 5 NIT's
  3. Top 3 IIIT's
  4. Jadavpur University
  5. Anna University

      2. Tier 2 Level Colleges:

These are the Colleges which are not greatly established But that does not mean that they do not get brilliant students. These colleges has also maintained good reputation.
These institutes majorly lack in resources and student power. This is so because there majority of students are those who either failed to clear JEE or other exams or they were a bit late or took this decision in a hurry. But that doesn’t mean that tier 2 college students cannot be successful. They have equal chance to succeed as that of tier 1 college student or a tier 3 college student. Success isn’t a college dependent entity, it’s a student dependent entity. Thus these colleges lack in resources and mostly provide a bit costly education as compared to that of some tier 1 colleges.

List of Tier 2 Colleges

  1. Rest IIT's, NIT's, IIIT's
  2. DTU, NSUT
  3. Bits Goa/HYderabad
  4. VIT Vellore

  8. Amrita School of Engineering
  9. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
  10. Punjab Engineering College and many mores

     3. Tier 3 Level Colleges:

These colleges are those which have recently been opened and lack many things that tier 1 and 2 colleges have.
These colleges attract abundant of those students who just wanted to pursue engineering due their parents or some other reason. The reason can be that they didn’t want to leave their hometown or someone misguided them. But this doesn’t mean that they won’t succeed. The only thing that they won’t have is the links, resources and help from seniors (in other words, student power). They would have to cover the requisite on their own and this is a positive thing that they might end up being superior that a tier 1 or a tier 2 student. The only thing is that they have to put in some extra effort.

List of Tier 3 Colleges

"The only thing is that college is not main factor in making a student career it is the student Who makes it"

Mostly students choose school by their average packages but you know this is not good do decide on basis on average package. The factors which are necessary we have covered in or first post.

Thera are countless examples about these that a student  from tier2 and tier 3 college got package in crores and in foreign countries. There are also many cases that a student from IIT has failed.

The main thing wrong with an IITIAN is that they assumed to be successed after getting admission in IIT. But in real life has started at this moment. And we have a mindset that success means IIT/IIM.

But in real success means never giving up.

You could take an example of  a student from tier 3 college got job in Amazon, You have to read his struggle story, I am sure you will get something fromhis strugle.

Read his story at Success does not need all the resources.

If you have read to this point than keep your eyes on this blog Because My next post will be on how to chose the correct Brach for your correr.

And please kindly share this blog with your friends.
